<Introduction> explains King Sejong who created hangeul and the fundamental principle of hangeul with interesting illustrations. Contents consists of four units. Each unit suggests the order of strokes in writing Korean consonants and vowels, pronunciatons, and syllables. It also shows various types of exercises and activities such as the order of strokes in writing Korean consonants and vowels, reading, listening and finding the answer, listening and writing, etc. It provides a self-checking list of each unit and questions to review each unit. Furthermore, <Appendix> enables students to learn hangeul consonants and vowels and to study vacabularies in each topic through various activities before studying Korean in earnest.
